Our Cabins

Cabins 1 & 2:
Perfect for families or small groups, each cabin comes with two single beds and one set of bunk beds. Shared shower and toilet facilities are conveniently located between the two cabins.

Cabins 3 & 4:
Featuring a double bed, one single bed, and a set of bunk beds, these cabins offer extra space and comfort for your stay.

Cabins 5 & 6:
These standard rooms are equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, a shower, and a toilet—perfect for a simple, comfortable stay.

All Cabins Feature:

Fully equipped kitchen facilities.
Air conditioning for your comfort.
Patio area with a barbecue for outdoor dining.
Bedding provided (you’ll need to bring your own towels).

2025 – 2026 Pricing:

Cabins 1 - 2: $160 per night.
Cabin 3 - 4: $200 per night.
Cabin 5 - 6: $160 per night.
A $200 deposit is required to secure your booking.

Borroloola House Boats is located on The McArthur River at the King Ash Bay Fishing Club in The Gulf of Carpentaria.

The McArthur River system includes around 1000 kilometres of waterways, such as The McArthur, The Carrington, The Johnson, and The Fletcher Rivers, as well as countless creeks and tributaries, finally, emptying into the Gulf and giving you access to The Pellew Group of Islands.

Whether you are just looking to get away, relax and experience the virtually untouched remote wilderness, or are a keen angler looking for the fishing adventure that will be remembered for the duration of your life, Borroloola House Boats has your next holiday covered.

Tendering your boat to one of our houseboats and using it as a base to fish from is the ultimate way to access some of the most remote fishing hotspots in Australia. Fish species such as barramundi, black jewfish, mangrove jack, queenfish and salmon are abundant in the river system. As well as the above species, coral trout, Red Emperor , Mackerel-Red Emperor and snapper are available in The Gulf and around the islands.
